Midland Wrestling Club Home Page 

The Midland Wrestling Club is dedicated to promoting collegiate-style wrestling for young athletes in first through eighth grade.  Wrestling is a sport that can be enjoyed by any child no matter their size.  Wrestling is an ideal sport for body and mind, building strength, endurance, self-confidence, and self-discipline.

2008-2009 Season:

  1. Register in person at the Midland Community Center front desk or register by phone at (989) 832-7937.
  2. The first practice will be held the first Monday after Thanksgiving (December 1, 2008).
  3. Practices for all wrestlers will be held at 5:15 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday and Thursdays in the Midland Community Center South gym. 
  4. Practices for beginner/intermediate wrestlers tentatively scheduled for 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays in the Northeast Middle School back gym.
  5. Practices for intermediate/advanced wrestlers tentatively scheduled for 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesdays in the Northeast Middle School back gym.

Final Wednesday practice schedule will be determined after the first practice in order to assess the experience level of the registered wrestlers.

The Midland Wrestling Club will be administered by the Midland Community Center.  Register at the Community Center front desk.

2009 Tournament Schedule: Tournament details can be found at  www.nemwa.org by looking under "2009 Tournaments".  Midland participates in division "A".
